Program overview

Companies and employees are experiencing a never-before-seen set of challenges in the workplace. These challenges often reinforce invisible barriers that prohibit growth and inevitably lead to negative outcomes. Campbell University Work Positive provides the knowledge and framework for organizations to improve employee productivity, boost company earnings, and increase operating income by transforming work culture.

Designed to accommodate the needs of today’s ever-changing work environment, these courses are offered online over a learning experience platform (LXP). The program is capable of fulfilling individual or team training for small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations. Participants who successfully complete Get Positive Coach Training will be eligible for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) classification through the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Managers expand their skillset and learn how a positive work environment nurtures employee performance and produces higher company earnings. This course includes group mentor coaching with Dr. Joey Faucette and Jane Cresewell via video conferencing. At the end of Work Positive Manager Coach Training, participants will demonstrate competency of coaching in a management role and how to incorporate the framework for positive work culture.

Managers begin the process to become an International Coach Federation (IFC) certified coach. Participants will review and demonstrate proficiency of core competencies taught throughout the Work Positive program. Get Positive Coach Training includes triad coaching with Dr. Faucette and Jane Creswell via video conferencing, along with a combination of individual and team sessions. Upon completion of this course, individuals will take the IFC Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA) and complete a coaching log to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Managers will be equipped to lead organizational initiatives on workplace policies and profitability.

Meet the instructors

Work Positive was developed by Dr. Joey Faucette and Jane Creswell.

Dr. Joey Faucette is a Campbell University School of Education alumnus and No. 1 best-selling author of “Work Positive in a Negative World.” He has dedicated his career to helping business professionals create positive work cultures through executive, team, and ICF-approved coach training. Faucette has written seven books and contributed to several business publications including the Wall Street Journal Money Watch, CNBC, Fox News, and Entrepreneur Magazine. Local and global corporations, such as Home Instead Senior Care and State Farm, have benefited from his “Orange Owned” business-coaching firm, Listen to Life, Too. 

Jane Creswell is a Master Certified Coach and the founder of the IBM Coaches Network. She is internationally recognized as a leader in the corporate coaching field. Creswell created the IBM Coaches Network in 1997 by leveraging nearly 20 years of organizational experience. While at IBM, she led individual coach training at all levels of leadership within the company.  She is the former managing director for Purdue University’s Organizational Leadership Development Lab and coached at the executive level with corporations including SAS Institute, Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Northrop Grumman, and Dow AgroSciences. She is the author of two books with features in HR and Time magazines, as well as a guest appearance on NPR’s “The Diane Rehm Show.”
