Active Duty Military is defined as service members of the U.S. Armed Forces (qualify after basic training is completed, as defined in 10 U.S.C. § 101(a)(4)). Documentation includes Service Members Documentation can include a copy of DD-214 or Military Orders. (Only one document is required.)

Students without previous college experience

For students without previous college experience, the most important factors in the admissions decision are the high school academic record (including courses taken, grades attained, and class standing) followed by SAT and/or ACT scores.

Students with previous college experience

For students with previous college experience, the primary factor in the admissions decision is previous college performance with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. This is followed by high school performance and SAT and/or ACT scores.

Other considerations

We also consider work experience, extracurricular activities, community involvement and a student’s potential to contribute positively to the Campbell environment.

Military Service Transcript

For students using their military service transcript (Joint Services Transcript – JST), the most recent/primary MOS and Service School credits will be evaluated for transfer credit followed by all previous MOSs listed. Service members with a minimum of 1 year of active duty service may automatically qualify for a minimum of 12 transfer credit hours.

Tuition rate is awarded through a scholarship process handled by Financial Aid and the Business Office.

The scholarship is automatically awarded upon receipt of the student’s documentation showing an active duty status.
