Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society

Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to the advancement of scholarship and to the recognition of nontraditional students continuing their higher education. This society was formed in 1946 to recognize adult students who achieve academic excellence while facing competing interests of family, community and work. Alpha Sigma Lambda is the oldest and largest chapter-based honor society for full and part-time undergraduate adult students.

Membership Criteria for the Sigma Gamma Chapter at Campbell University:

  • Top 20% of all Adult and Online Education students who possess at least a 3.5 GPA
  • Completed at least 24 credit hours at Campbell University

Membership Benefits

  • Honor cord to wear during your graduation ceremony (to be purchased through the ASL website)
  • Nationally recognized academic achievement for your resume

Qualified students will receive an email invitation to join. Lifetime membership is $50.00, which covers national and chapter dues, lapel pin, and membership certificate. For more information, contact the Adult & Online Education Dean’s Office at aoedeansoffice@campbell.edu.
