Overview

Management studies the activities associated with running a business, particularly with managing people. Management students learn how to be effective and purpose-driven leaders. They understand how to deal with complex relationships among people working closely together to promote business success. Management majors learn to become adept at interpersonal communication, problem-solving, conflict management, and team building. They engage others with emotional intelligence and maturity.

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Management program introduces students to a broad range of subjects, including:

  • Philosophy of Business
  • Business Law
  • Principles of Management
  • Accounting
  • Economics

Admission Requirements

Students must meet one of the two qualifying requirements for our Bachelor of Applied Science in Management 

  1. If you have earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in a business-related field (Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics) from a regionally accredited technical school. Up to 64 transfer credit hours may be accepted as transfer credit towards your degree with Campbell University.
  2. If you have completed a business-related military training program that is equivalent to (1.) above, then you may receive up to 64 semester hours as transfer credit towards your degree at Campbell University. Your transfer credits will be based on the recommendations by the American Council on Education (ACE), which are based on your Military Occupational Specialty (MOS, AFSC, NEC).
