About the Campbell Adult and Online Education (AOE) Business Management Degrees

Business management focuses on the strategies, activities, and processes associated with running a business or organization, particularly with respect to managing people and teams. Managers are essential to organizational effectiveness and the successful collaboration, performance, and well-being of human resources. Managers in leadership roles help shape the direction of an organization and, in today’s increasingly global and competitive business environment, guide and sustain an organization across teams, borders, and areas of operation.

The AOE Management BBA and BAS degrees provide you with the well-rounded education that every business leader needs.  As a business management major, you will learn how to be an effective and purpose-driven manager who can deal with complex relationships among people working closely together to promote business success. In the management program, you will learn to become adept at interpersonal communication, problem-solving, conflict management, and team building. You will develop the skills necessary to engage others with emotional intelligence and maturity and lead in a diverse and global workplace.

Management is the largest and broadest business discipline. The skills and competencies that you learn in the management BBA and BAS degree tracks translate to any workplace regardless of whether you are working in a small or large business, private or nonprofit organization, education, or the government sector.
