Well-Being

Well-Being Wheel

Welcome to the AOE Well-Being Site

Each month we will have tips and information designed to help our students, faculty, and staff embrace the concept of well-being and build it into their daily lives.

The image above is the Campbell Well-Being Wheel. The eight dimensions of the well-being wheel are interconnected and represent dimensions of a person’s life, and when balanced and tended to, can lead to thriving and flourishing. You can use the wheel to reflect and evaluate your overall well-being and to keep up with how you are practicing well-being in that area.

Like the dimensions of the wheel are connected so are these areas of your life. Learning to see one as dependent on the other can lead to ways of being that will contribute to your well-being and the well-being of those around you.

Are you trying to figure out what to do once you’ve completed your degree?  Or are you interested in what other employment opportunities are out there?

One resource Campbell has for you is CUHired!

Current students can log in to review useful articles, on-line professional development sites, and samples of tools needed for the job hunt.

These links provide access to approved search engines where employers and students can connect during the job hunt. Students also gain the advantage of hosting their own site uniquely marketing themselves to potential recruiters.

Let’s talk about Academic Well-Being!

We know how hard it can be to balance the demands of school, family, and work.  To help, we offer several resources.  We hope you try them out and we are always open to hearing feedback on how we can improve academic well-being support for our AOE students.  If you have ideas, send us an email.

We know that food insecurity can be a challenge for everyone.  One resource Campbell has is the Campbell University Campus Pantry.  The Pantry is a space for students and staff in need to shop for food.

The pantry is open weekly on Thursdays this Fall from 2:00-5:00 at the Campus Ministry House. Please stop by if you have a need! Bring your Campbell ID.

Need more information or aren’t local and need resources in your area?  Contact Morgan Pajak (Associate Campus Minister) at pajak@campbell.edu or (910) 814-4769

Check out the pantry on Instagram @cu_nourish

You can read more of their policies HERE.
