Marty C. Blackmon Memorial Direct Aid Scholarship

In loving memory of Marty C. Blackmon, a member of the Adult and Online Education team who made a difference in the lives of all of our students, this direct aid scholarship supports Adult and Online students with a stipend. 

Congrats to our 2025 recipients, who wrote on our theme “Impact”.

The current application cycle is closed.  It will reopen early in 2026.

This scholarship is open to any AOE student (home campus of Online, Raleigh, Camp Lejeune, or Fort Bragg & Pope) who is currently enrolled in classes or has been enrolled in the current academic year (September – May ) with at least 9 credits left in their degree program.
